Gregor Kregar‘s latest body of works explores an everyday object we are all too familiar- the road cone.

Kregar states that “Auckland has been renamed the city of cones; they are everywhere from suburban streets to the CBD, they direct our movement and our consciousness. These orange beacons of progress march down every street ... but, more recently, they divide the city into a myriad of one-way roads with their presence beginning to feel farcical.

Following on from the 7 years of constant touring that fuelled the EP 'Traveller', Monty's first 2 years as a father have defied him to delve deeply into what slowing down might uncover.

Embracing change, reinventing life, and connecting to the source are themes that drive Monty's full-length debut album, out this spring.
