This week’s Recharted is a super special one: Last winter, Finn trekked through 2 hours of lonesome Ashburton highway before being picked up by his pal Alice and her dad, and taken to the giant transparent perspex home of NZ’s only current record manufacturer, the lord of the lathe, Peter King. In the first part of this 2 episode special, Finn and Peter pontificated about alternative sources of fuel, almost being killed by an exploding fridge, and rescuing the NZ record manufacturing industry with a 14 hour a day, 7 day a week passion. (PS the fundraiser for his medical bills can be found here: https://www.gofundme.com/PeterKing)
