Te Whanganui-a-Tara's BADTAB return to celebrate the release of their sophomore album, The Year of Sincerity, with a special hometown performance.

For this one, we're bringing someone truly special down from Tāmaki Makaurau.

Christopher Martin James - the man behind the moniker Christoph El Truento - has spent over a decade crafting one of the most interesting and diverse discographies of any musician from Aotearoa. DJ, beatmaker, producer, collaborator. He's moved across hip-hop, jazz, dub and experimental music - and when he steps behind the decks, all of that feeds in.

Fellow DJs describe him as someone who can nail so many genres without being an imitator or sounding contrived. That's a rare thing. You can feel the difference.

He starts chill, lets the room breathe, lets the conversations happen - and then, once the dancefloor takes shape, anything goes. That's exactly the kind of night we built this room for.

Joining him are three of Pōneke's finest - Mikki D, Maximillian and Kong Kasi - warming things up right.

Come in from the cold for a special Winter Series edition, complete with immersive lighting from @lighterxx and a night of great music at Cuba St Tavern.

Welly quartet ISKRA are celebrating the release of their debut EP on the 1st of August at Havana. After three years of house parties, packed bars and festival stages, ISKRA have bottled five tracks and are ready to unleash them back into the world. ISKRA will bring fire, fury, and moments of reflection inspired by the London Jazz Scene, Afro-beat, Balkan and Brass-House. Think: dance party at the end of the world.

Joining ISKRA are Pōneke's own The Temple - a mesmerising sax-led ambient trio taking you on transcendental journeys through electronica, dub-techno, jazz and jungle. Two saxophone led groups, two very different worlds - one huge night.

DJ Torchie rounds it out with jungle and liquid drum & bass till late.

Taite Music Prize-winning songwriter Anthonie Tonnon today announces the international tour for his immersive new live show, Cinematographer, marking the beginning of a bold new creative chapter.

Three years in the making, Cinematographer combines live electronic music, cinematic storytelling and visual design into an immersive performance. The show sees Tonnon pushing his live performance into ambitious new territory.
