Kia ora you are tuned into RadioActive.fm Parakuihi brought to you by San Fran,
And I am now joined by film maker, musician and general storytelling artist Paloma Schneideman, as their debut feature film Big Girls Don’t Cry is playing at this year’s New Zealand International Film Festival.
Premiering at Sundance earlier this year where it was a finalist for the World Cinema Dramatic Award, the film is a coming-of-age film with a tender portrait of 14-year-old Sid, as she tentatively traverses insecurity, identity and desire during the summer of 2006.
Mōrena Paloma thank you for joining me!
