Hun Lynch (Pakeha, Fiji, Samoa) is a multi-disciplinary artist whose work spans music, film, theatre, and writing. Her practice is expansive and deeply personal with the sound fluctuating between moments of spiritual grandeur and existential fragility.
Hun has performed around Aotearoa, opening for Serebii and WOMB at sold-out venues as well as playing Roundhead’s Infinity Sessions supporting LEAO and Neil Finn. Her music has aired on NTS and 95bFM and featured across theatre, dance, and screen.
As an actor, Hun recently appeared in the New Zealand feature film Mum, I’m Alien Pregnant, directed by THUNDERLIPS, which premiered to critical acclaim at the Sundance Film Festival 2026.
Hun Lynch releases her debut album Sycophant on April 24 via Te Moana Nui a Kiwa independent label Noa Records. Self-recorded and produced, and mixed at Auckland’s Roundhead Studios with engineer Paddy Hill, the album distills her creative vocabulary into a sound that is as theatrical and poetic as it is intimate. The album’s lead single Conan arrives March 27.
