An aboriginal Australian musician based in Ottawa Canada, Mikhail Laxton has his own timeless sound, and has been regarded as one of the most vital new voices within the Canadian music scene! In 2020 Laxton made the move to the northern hemisphere, he had just landed a record deal and was set to release his debut EP, Real. Of course what followed was the world-wide standstill due to multiple covid lockdowns, but despite many obstacles Mikhail Laxton persevered with the music. In 2023, U.K.-based publication, Maverick Country Music Magazine gave Laxton’s debut album top marks and called it “flawless,” a “must-have” in any country fan’s collection.
