NZ Fringe Festival is back, celebrating 36 years! Kicking off on the 13th of February, leap into the craziest, most vibrant and bizarre time in our city this summer.

Featuring a lineup of exciting local legends and international heavyweights, shows will take place across Pōneke in over 30 venues - including theatres, community halls, bars, parks and even the Wellington waterfront.

Theia Album Release @ Meow

Indie Aotearoa artist, Theia, has released her debut album GIRL, IN A SAVAGE WORLD, and to celebrate will perform at Meow in Te Whanganui-a-Tara (Wellington) on Thursday, March 5.

Bold and powerful, GIRL, IN A SAVAGE WORLD is “rooted in giving permanence to mātauranga (knowledge) about the historical impacts of colonisation, and the subsequent cultural revitalisation through music and storytelling”.

Irish Musicians for Palestine

Top local Irish musicians play Vogelmorn Upstairs in support of humanitarian aid for Palestine. Get your tickets early for this special night which will sell out.

Featuring Em Griffiths, Paddy McCann, Parcel of Rogues, Pat Higgins and Sláinte, along with special guest Adham and bean an tí Aedeen Boadita-Cormican, there will be some of your favourite Irish songs, along with songs of justice & peace, original music and a poem or two. Saoirse don Phalaistín!

All concert proceeds go to Emily Writes' Aotearoa 2 Gaza Mutual Aid Fund so we've set up ticketing so you can give what you can. Bring a little cash for the raffle!

Doors open at 6:30pm with a mini market downstairs selling goods and sharing information in support of local Palestine support groups. Entry to the mini market is free.
