Te Pātaka Toi Adam Art Gallery – Exhibitions open until 6 July

Waiora by Paekakariki artist Hemi McGregor features painting, sculpture and installation. Mcgregor draws on geometric structures, patterns and processes in the natural world to explore our relationship with sky, water, earth and seasons.

Lovers & Castaways presents artworks from the 1980s by some of New Zealand’s most well-known artists, including Bill Hammond, Gretchen Albrecht, Richard Killeen, Julian Dashper, Ralph Hotere, Pat Hanly and many more.

In Toloa Tales, Tamki Mākaurau artists Edith Amituanai and Sione Tuívailala Monū present new video works that explore the concept of returning to an ancestral homeland.
