Synthetic Children is the solo moniker of Te Papaioea (and now Pōneke) based artist Celina Goacher (either/eyether, Khaki Department, Big Fresh Collective). Via hardware synths and drum machines she explores cathartic dance music across wonky, bass heavy rhythms. Her live sets move swiftly between the weighty murk of 2023’s ‘Everything’s Perpetual’, to the autotuned pop and bubbling beats of her latest ‘Smooch EP’.
